How it works
Collagen Induction Therapy with Microneedling is a complete procedure involving all of the key treatments needed to optimize the effectiveness for stunning results:
Microneedling
Microneedling triggers the body's reaction to heal and repair and starts the process of increasing collagen and elastin. It also stimulates the release of growth factors needed for regenerative healing.
Stem Cell Growth Factors & Cytokines
Stem Cell Growth Factors and Cytokines supports the repair of damaged skin naturally produced in our bodies. It replaces substances needed for stimulation that deplete as we age.
Cold Laser Therapy
Cold Laser Therapy immediately reduces inflammation, assists in wound healing and provides additional stimulation.
Follicle Stimulation Therapy
This procedure works because it stimulates growth factors needed for repair and it allows more topically-applied nutrients into the skin. The stimulation works to:
- Deliver the natural stem cell growth factors responsible for collagen stimulation and facial rejuvenation
- Activate tissues’ natural healing to produce even more healthy collagen

All of the treatments involved in this procedure compliment each other making it more advantageous than Microneedling alone.
Tiny needles penetrate the epidermis but do not remove it. Because of the tiny injuries these needles create, your body’s healing response is triggered, just as with a larger wound. This is when the phases of repair begin. The initial response is inflammation, which we address with the low level therapy. Then our new tissue formation begins and continues for 3-6 weeks. In the last phase, the beautiful new collagen fibers link together offering stronger, tighter skin and filling in of those lines and divots. While activity can last for months to years, most of us visually see the improvement at about 8 weeks.
A concentrated solution containing pro-healing Growth Factors and Cytokines is applied several times during the needling process and absorbs into the tiny channels in the dermis. This is an important step in maximizing results because it contains the substances required for the stimulation of growth in living cells in the skin.
Also known as Low Level Laser Therapy, this treatment is a low-intensity light treatment that does not create heat and works by stimulating cell function and reproduction. Including this step in the treatment lends additional stimulation while also decreasing inflammation.

AnteAGE MD® products are formulated without toxic chemicals or acids which are a concern for new moms and moms-to-be. Hydroquinone is the most important ingredient to avoid while pregnant. There is no Hydroquinone or ingredients which break down into Hydroquinone in the AnteAGE MD® products.
Salicylic Acid is an ingredient that some have raised concerns about, though there is no direct evidence of harm while pregnant or breastfeeding. Salicylic Acid is present in AnteAGE MD® Serum as part of a natural preservative system, in less than 0.1% concentration. When applied to skin at this level there is no measurable effect and is not absorbed systemically in levels that even conservative physicians would be concerned about.
Experience
After thoroughly cleansing the skin, a topical numbing agent will be applied for your comfort, making it a pain-free experience. This is a time to rest while waiting for it to take effect. After removing the gel and sterilizing the skin we will begin needling while alternating the stem cell induction. Afterwards, your skin will still be numb.
Next, as you rest under the Low Level Laser, your skin will calm and the therapeutic red light will reduce inflammation for improved healing. When your skin is no longer numb it may feel a little tight which is a normal response.
Clients are encouraged to refrain from using any products, especially those with active ingredients, for 24 hours.
